Member ship costs R1399 per year. When you join you are charged R1399 PLUS a once off new member registration fee of R100. If you renew your membership before it ends, then you only pay R1399 thereafter. If your membership ends and you wish to reinstate it at a later date then your will be charged R1399 PLUS a R100 reactivation fee.

You will become a member of Belfast Golf Club in Mpumalanga.

Please note that different Golf Clubs have different rules. Some clubs require guests to play with their members. But you do qualify for affiliated visitor / member rates at over 400 SAGA affiliated golf clubs in South Africa. Please check the rules of the club you intend playing at to avoid disappointment.

Yes, once you have an official World Handicap Index you are entitled to play in golf club competitions and golf days, off your official handicap index – which you will be able to calculate on the HNA app.

Yes, foreigners are welcome to join the Golf Club. When completing the membership application form, simply skip the area asking for an SA ID number and enter you Nationality and Passport Number.

We normally process your membership within 48 hours. If you make payment and don’t hear from us within 48 hours, please reach out to us to make sure that we have received your Member Application form.

You need to enter at least 3 scores to get an Official Handicap Index. Your handicap is then calculated by taking your 8 best scores of your last 20 rounds entered.

No, we no longer distribute physical cards as you get a virtual handicap card on the HNA app. Simply log into the app and turn your device sideways to see an image of your card.

Your membership is valid for 12 months from when you join. If you don’t renew your membership simply ends. No need to resign from the club. You can always get your membership reactivated later on. Please be aware of the R100 once off reactivation fee, if your membership ended.
